High School Concert Choir Dates 2016-2017

The choir dates for the year have been scheduled. As the year progresses dates may be changed or added.
Friday, Oct. 7 Sing the National Anthem at the last home football game, 6:30
November 4-18 Fundraiser, Cookie Dough
Wednesday, November 16 Chicago trip, leave at 7:35 am and return 11 pm
Only those students who paid will be going
Thurs. & Fri., December 8-9 Collage Concert, 7:00 PM, OVHS Auditorium, $3 or $10/family
Tuesday, December 13 Fundraiser pick-up from 2:20-5:30, Middle School cafeteria
Tues. & Wed., March 21-22 Dress Rehearsals for Revue Show 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Thurs, Fri, Sat, March 23-25 11th Annual OVHS Revue Show, 7:00 PM, OVHS Auditorium
General admission for the Revue Show is $6 a person, $5 in advance
Thursday, May 18 High School Band and Choir Concert, 7 PM, free
Please mark these dates on your calendar. Remember that every student is required to attend these concerts as part of the curriculum of the class. If a student has a conflict with a performance or rehearsal, an Absence/Tardy Request Form (available in the choir classroom) must be completed and given to Mr. Vander Velde at least 1 week prior to the respective concert or rehearsal (emergencies are of course exempt from this requirement). Students who miss rehearsals or performances will need to do a make-up assignment (even if the absence is excused).
